That's what I can't understand, there's a long history of attacks by FLEC (and previously FLEC-FAC) in the Cabinda region.
They were stupid for trying to drive through the region, the Cabinda region has been fighting for independence for years it was obvious they'd do everything in their power to show the Angolan government aren't in control.
