I know the debate on this is closed, and still miss seeing Gerrard in the team. But have we missed an opportunity to bring him in short term?

Didn't we start this awful run of results when he rejoined?

Saw a clip last night of some new striker that City signed who scored both foals for them. I was really angry. Now i have bo idea how much he cost them but when you have a club that has one of the best strikers in world football but still sees a beed to improve or have extra in that area you really have to wonder about our own bo sign strategy. Did you see the new lads fearless excitement and fun after scoring. Now he is probably gonna be shit long term i dont know but Pep saw the need to freshen up things up front and it may just work. We seem to be content carrying on with the stale origi/studge shit.

Matty Cash - 19 yr old
Oliver Burke (sold to RB Leipzig) - 19 yr old

Pretty sure there's some more talent in their youth team to be unearthed/unleashed.
