5 games scoring run making it 6 goals in 8 league games.

"I apologise to van der Vaart if his agent gave him another story. I think he's a very good player, but he's not the profile of the player we were looking for.

"When it came up I said, 'No, we have players in his position.'" - Hodgson

Just watched extended highlights of Chavski-Gooners:

1) Cech should really have done better on three of those goals (Santos, Walcott and VP's last) - that is some really poor defending
2) Terry is no way at fault for RVP's 2nd - Malouda gave him a terrible pass
3) Sturridge is good, but has to mature more as a player - he should have set Torres up for an open net within 5 minutes
4) Chelsea play a really high line defensively - they're beaten over the top constantly this way.
5) Why is David Luiz not playing?
6) On VP's winner, was that a SS salute?
7) How did Sczzzzzzzzzzzzny (Arsenal GK) stay on the pitch after that foul on Cole?
Luiz isn't playing because, good footballer though he is overall, defensively they'd be even less secure with him at the back. I'd be tempted to see how he'd do in the Makelele role, which they haven't adequately filled yet.

this has got to be spurs' best run in like forever.
They've not played anyone decent yet.

They did. Prior to this run. (Man Utd and Man City) 😛 Beat us 4-0 and Arsenal 2-1 too.

"Tottenham have taken 16 points from the last 18 available, their best run of form since January 2005."

Thats 19 out of possible 21 after today's game.

He's quality, really liked the look of him for the Hammers and he's carried it on with the Barcodes, they've been impressive so far this season.

'Kin hell.

Newcastle will go a point behind Utd in third and if they win Utd draw next weekend they'd go second in the premier league after 11 matches.

I keep thinking to my self:' Just give them time, they'll capitulate' but I am starting to think they'll be there or there abouts the top 4 come the end of the season and if they are you have to give Pardew some acclaim.

Anyone notice the green lines around the original white lines on the stoke pitch ???
They resized the pitch to suit their style

Give it a couple weeks, bitters at home, scum and Citeh away, chelsea home. Tough run and been lucky with injuries so far.

Top half is the sensible Target, Europe at a stretch.

Fancy them to beat Everton but surely they'll drop a fair few points in the 3 games after that.

Still don't think they're a threat to the top 4, but fair play to them, they've exceeded expectations this season thus far.

How much did he cost? He was superb for WHU against us last year.

Wasn't he free?

Big LOL at the ironic slow wipe of the ball with a towel by the Newcastle defender.
Haha !

Everyone should do that when they play those cunts.

Big demba? Pretty certain he was

Three year deal undisclosed fee but he had a clause that would free him from his contract should the Hammers be relegated.
