That goal by Torres was class ... In fact, I can't remember for the life of me him ever scoring a header like that for us - it was everything you want from a striker.
As for Ross shitting himself - he may not be right with Torres (unless they sign Falcao, and then he'll be fucked again), but Rafa won't be doing anything with Chelsea that will remove his 'interim manager' tag imo.

and van persie could very well have been sent off for his ridiculous reaction. It also wasn't like fergie makes out, as if play had long stopped and he battered the ball it him.
It's really a miracle that van persie and every other striker in the league hasn't died then fergie isn't it? When they jump with a defender to challenge for a long ball and get a bit of elbow or forehead in the back of their heads it's probably more dangerous.

bollocks , thought before the game that chelsea would score at least 5 and it looks to be heading that way , should have put some money on .
right , villa , can someone explain to me why everyone is raving about them and how well they're doing . Even after giving us a hiding they're going to be 16th with a goal difference currently of -12 and counting . Yeah i'm aware they're playing loads of young lads and going down that route but so what , it's not as if they're in the top 6 or anything .
Look , i know that giving youth a chance is right up there in the "ideal way to run a club " guide but it seems nowadays that people go well over the top about it . Get battered and sit down the bottom of the table , "ah it's all right we're going down the young player route , we'll be the dog's bollocks in a few seasons i promise ". Surely it has to be a balance between now and the future , there's no guarantees these lads will kick on as much as everyone thinks just because they are young . And you watch people turn if they're still getting these results in a few months .
