It's amazing when you think about it.

Fucking disgusting but truly amazing that time after time after time, a group of players who individually probably aren't all that combine to make this winning machine.

you're probably right, but the last thing i felt watching it was amazed: blackpool were absolutely dead on their feet from about 60 minutes - utd looked the likely winners even at that stage.
 
Had the ref given the penalty on 2-0 it would have been over though. Probably got a call at half time.
 
I wonder if Blackpool would take a signed copy of Kenny's book and a bag of conkers for Adam now ?

Put a fiver on them at half time. I knew they'd win so long as they got a goal before 75. If you're an average team, you really have to be 2 goals up against them around the 85th before any sort of result is safe. They just keep on working you whatever the score until you make a mistake or your legs have totally gone. Blackpool tried, but like most teams, just ran out of steam.

It's like fighting Mike Tyson and winning every single round on points till round 10 and being dead on your feet and him fresh as a fiddle. You've done well, will get some plaudits, but you've spent your load, and now you're just there for the taking.
