You'll get it right one of these times. Keep plugging away Cerb.

World Club Championship.

Barca 3 (Messi, Xavi, Fabretwat) Santos 0 (Neymar is obviously rubbish now)

Bolton are fucked. Can easily see a relegation treble in the North West.
Elmander, Taylor, Sturridge - that's 3 important players gone from the club. Infact, with his performances this season, Cahill can be considered the 4th. Hopefully Owen Coyle will avoid the axe.

On a sidenote, both of WBA's goals were pretty good today.
They're also without Holden and Lee who were important players last year. Coyle is unfortunate in many respects because this all happened at a time when Bolton had to pull back financially so some sort of regression was going to happen unless he was able to work some magic, but everything has gone wrong for him.

My only criticism of him is he's trying to get Bolton to play a style they aren't accustomed to or completely comfortable with, they're no longer a team people dislike playing against (I think Stoke are probably that team now) but otherwise where Bolton are isn't that much of a reflection of the work he's done rather than the circumstances surrounding him.
Have you actually watched any Bolton games? There's this idea in the media that they are trying to play attractive barcelona-esque football under Coyle, which they did for about his first 2 weeks in charge, now they just hoof it again. They are awful to watch and probably the worst team I've seen this season by a long long way. Coyle isn't playing any of the players he bought either

Commentators making it sound like Utd battered QPR.

They blatantly did for about, oh, 10 minutes of the 45, the rest of the time QPR gave as good as they got.

QPR should be expected a draw minimum out of these. Utd just don't like it up em.

4-0 FT

I *think* Messi got another, not sure though.

"@sidlowe: Rt "@espanafutbol: Neymar (post-game on Barcelona): "Today we learned how to play football"""

If that's not a "Come and rescue me from my Samba hell, Liverpool !" message, I don't know what is.

Rooney's haircut is staggeringly bad.
He looks like an extra from 'Oliver Twist'.

Have you seen the way it's shaved at the sides?

2 questions:

Who asks for their hair to be cut like that?
Who the fuck cuts hair like that?

FUCKIN LOOK AT THE HACK OF IT

I can't believe I've just seen Michael Carrick do that.

Pathetic goalkeeping too, though.

Phil Jones cost Utd less than we paid for adorning by the way. And he's younger.

We could have bought Jones, played him on the left wing and he'd still be better than Downing.

I'd like to thank the Utd youth player who at their Christmas party got up on stage in a Rooney kit, Shrek mask and bad black wig and took the piss out of his incredibly bad hair cut.

Ace!

Didn't we try though and he told us to fuck off?
Yes, yes we did.

We did try to sign him if I remember correctly

This Man Utd team isn't great by any means, but they've got so much pace throughout and on the break. They'll always be dangerous that way.

When and why did evra turn shite by the way?
About a year ago, age.

He was about to sign for us aswell if rumours are to be believed when Ferguson called him.
Boyhood Manc fan etc

Dear Ray Wilkins,

Can you please say a sentence without saying "My word..." somewhere in there?

Thanks, "Butch"

Liam

Howard Webb had a poor game today and missed a good few chances to award free kicks to Man U.
Another performance like that and he runs the risk of being dropped by Fergie.
