So here's something to calm us all down about this team's finishing... (posted elsewhere)

Most of the team, that beat UNITED 7-0 last year, bar Fabinho and Henderson are still on our first team squad.
Only Endo, Szbo, and Macca are new.
It could have been a mauling. it was in the past with these lads. It will be again.

yesterday COULD have been 7-0 again, at OT. That's massive. And we played them off the park. MASSIVE

Second in the league, only by goal difference, ALL to play for.
How can we expect our team to be mentality monsters, if we are being mentality midgets?

This time last year we were in fecking 7th place with 53 points.

Now, we could EASILY win the league if we show up. We've got as much a chance as Arse and City.

How can Fulham away have a higher rating than Brighton away? Some weird ratings there (and basically City's overall rating is so low based on one match Luton (H).
It yet again shows what some of us have been saying for ages - Arsenal have an horrendous last 6 weeks - worse if they get past Bayern and ditto for City if they get past Real.

It took less than three minutes of Liverpool's win over Fulham on Sunday for Trent Alexander-Arnold to demonstrate the unique qualities that make him so important to Jurgen Klopp's side.

After 90 seconds, a searching pass from deep in his own half which almost put Luis Diaz in behind. Soon after that, another which found him in space to attack on the right. Then, at the other end, an inch-perfect cross from which the Colombian should have scored.

Alexander-Arnold's most memorable contribution was of course the stunning free-kick which later broke the deadlock at Craven Cottage.

But, on his first Premier League start since February following a knee injury, that brilliant opening goal was just one facet of a performance which showed the transformative potential of his return

In 45 seconds in Atalanta he popped up centre mid, right back and right forward. He just adds so much to our team.

Real shame we rushed him back earlier this season.
