Strike a pose..

I've always like the shirt idea, and fair play for them to donating the profits to HJC.

It is good of them to do so, but I don't see how tarnishing our sponsor helps the situation.

It's not like Standard Chartered are going to run the Yanks out?

Putting the actual logo would have been copy-write infringement I guess, but yeah, they should have left it sponsor free.

Fuck me, surely they couldve gotten someone to model it who didnt have a beer gut?!

Bad idea, slagging off a sponsor inadvertently. They deserve better since they've donated so much dough. I urge a boycott of these shirts!!! 😛olice:

It's better than that grey shirt Adidas gave us the other year.

Fuck me that was awful

It is actually quite a cool t shirt, feeling sympathy for a global bank is just outside of my sense of fairness, even though that makes me a hypocrit.

It nothing to do with 'feeling sympathy' for them, it's to do with having a go at our new sponsors who have just paid more than anyone in history for that honour.

They've also done fuck all to deserve any stick, so it's completely uncalled for, & if publicised may well jeopardise future sponsorship deals too.

Well said - they give us 80M and we drag them into a slagging contest? There's a danger they'll regret this deal as it is. Let's not make it worse.

Oh dear, I understand the concept n'all, but sometimes I often see stuff that makes me very embarrassed to be a Liverpool fan *rolls eyes* Spirit of Shankly being one of them, this another.

I'm with John on this regarding his comments.. As he says if this shirt becomes well publicised it could be seen as 'having a go' at our current sponsors when in fact they have done nothing to warrant such a thing.

We stand a great chance of jeopardising our current sponsorship and future sponsorship deals.
