You know, when you do something without fully thinking, part through reflex, part through complete lack of forethought?
Yeah, I had one, about an hour and a half ago.
Me & the wife go out tonight for a meal down south road, to celebrate our fourth wedding anniversary (& also our tenth being together anniversary).
Afterwards we roll into wetherspoons, a few bottles of wine to the worse, I go the toilet. Bump into an old mate. He says, want some magic, holding out the bag. Without even contemplating it I suck my finger, stick in the bag then have a go, then repeat. Only as I finish the second go does my brain catchup to what I've just done.
So I go downstairs, we have a drink, & seconds later my mother in laws best mate & her partner, plus their mates (no mother in law, she was babysitting ours) roll in. So I'm high as a fucking kite, having to making small talk with these cunts, whilst fighting the urge to gurn & eat my lips as I do so.
Needles to say, not my best moment.
I'm 34, any chance I'll stop making fuck ups like this anytime soon?!
Anyone got any similar stories to share to make me feel better?!
