The bookies have massively slashed the odds On Koeman being sacked.
The rumour mill claims he was nicked with a brass in Ellesmere Port last week.
Yeah, The Bitters are not known for their patience, or reticence in making their dissatisfaction known. And that run of results and performances has certainly badly dented any pre-season confidence they had.
It does seem odd that he sold Lukaku and didn't really replace his goals. As everyone knows, a striker who can get you 20 goals a season is worth a FORTUNE and if you have any ambition as a club to win trophies, you need one. I'm not saying the Bitters are at that level now - or indeed ever - but there's been a decent level of investment at Everton and that raises expectations.
They also seem horribly one-paced, and again the importance of pace in the Premiership seems to be another lesson Koeman has ignored. Tom Davies, Gylfi and Rooney are not quick at all, so they become congested and overwhelmed by defenders by not being able to break at speed.
Defensively, they are all over the place too, with Keane and Williams playing too deep and looking clueless, and their CM not functioning at all.
It should get better, as they do have some decent players, but Koeman needs to fix this quick.
As for the brass rumours, it could have been mistaken identity, because he looks more like "Our Graham" every week.
