Nah, it was a nice goal but nothing Arsenal haven't been doing for 15 years.
The cross and finish were the most impressive part.
Arsenal aren't well known for tough tackles and pressing. Let's see us do it against a better defence who like to stick a foot in.

This was the highlight of the game. It was beautiful to see, and even more beautiful to do it in front of twats who were periodically goading us with "HOOF!"

Hate the way our own fans seem to think we dont play sexy football..... The title miss season I'd say we were pretty much up there on quality of play as that Arsenal untouchables side... maybe even better to be honest as they drew a lot!
I have it's 19 completed passes from when Arsenal get a touch, either way its a nice goal where we retain possession and get a full back in behind who picks out a good cross, but I certainly don't think it's as good as some of you think.
I'd take Coutinho's over it and Mane's over both.

I loved our football that season and I think it was more direct and explosive. We are playing some very sexy football under Klopp, I just don't think that goal was as amazing as some do that's all.
However the ability to retain possession and link up is promising.
Yes, that free kick was technically perfect and I doubt more than a handful of players in the league could do it.
And Mane's reminded me of Saurez and made me jump off the couch so gets the nod.

I think you've completely missed the point Pat. Individual goals are great and ours were particularly fantastic, but this was a great team goal that deserves it's own merit

I think he missed the point of the thread. He said the other goals were more spectacular, the point people made is obviously about how this was a great team goal.
I'm not sure why you feel he need to stick your oar in, again.
Yeah, I know what moment you're talking about – I watched it a few more times and it's hard to tell if the Arsenal player touched the ball or not, maybe need a better resolution video. Firmino saw the tackle coming and tried to pass the ball back with his right foot and it's hard to say if it was his pass or the tackle or some combination of both that made the ball go towards Henderson.

It doesn't really feel like a 28-pass goal because only the last 2 passes were important to the goal. The rest was the usual "Death by football" we used to see plenty of under Rodgers. Most of these were the back four passing redistributing the ball from left to right. As a goal, it's just a cross and tap in. Not as highlight-worthy as the other goals.
That being said, it's still cool because (1) Teamwork is awesome. It's great to see players trust each other (2) it's always good to out-Arsenal Arsenal and (3) that movement between Lallana and Firmino was AWESOME. That alone made the clip worth watching.
