Thiago

I have to say, before Fabinho moved into DM, he looked very lightweight and totally unsuited to our game.

Since Fabinho has been back at DM, (socks down) Thiago has looked excellent. Physically stronger and technically superb.

Looking forward to seeing what he's like, when we have our CBs and Henderson back fit.

Interesting how the 1st half dozen matches he was flying in left right and centre, picking up yellows for fun and looking like a walking sending off.

Since then though he's learnt, and now looks fine. Shows his intelligence and coachability I guess. Great leap on him too.

Love him...

If we're at full strength next season - meaning Fabs, Hendo, Thiago in midfield most of time - we're the best team in the country again.

This season really is 80% injuries and exhaustion. When we're all back and rested, we'll be back fighting Qatar right until the end.
Whad - City is owned by the UAE. Not Qatar.

Someone in Germany must have told him the Premier League was like the prison yard. Have to show the other inmates who's boss or you won't survive....

Thiago is a definite upgrade on Keita. This is clear, but the downside is his age.

Both Henderson and Thiago don't play more than 30 to 40 games a season. So it depends on Klopp's assessment of Curtis Jones....whether he can replace Gini in the first team squad. If yes, then we don't really need to buy for midfield ( just keep one out of Keita, AOC Shaqiri) and focus on adding resources in defense and upfront. Hopefully the emphasis is again on quality over quantity...this has served Liverpool well in the last few years. Hope we don't suddenly ditch it and go back to Benitez days of buying a endless number of average players.

I’ve been impressed mostly by his attitude. He came here willing to work hard and prove himself. There are very few players who have reached his level that are willing to do that. So props to him... an example to younger players.

Hopefully next year we rectify the lack of trophies shit.. don’t want our names to that!

I agree that we need to buy out and out quality for the spine of the team now.

I was really excited about him joining and I still have the feeling watching him play. I've got a sneaky feeling the best is yet to come as well. Players like Thiago become even more effective when we have wrestled control of a tie. If we can get Fabinho and Henderson playing regularly next season we will be able to fully utilise Thiagos play making ability.

Watching Thiago play football is pure sex.

Incredible. Such ridiculous quality on the ball, passing, vision and tackling (despite the odd one per match being card worthy) and since his game is not based on speed I can see him being a mainstay in our midfield for the next 3-4 seasons.

The last one month he's been incredible. Showing his world class quality.

Excited if he continues in this vein next season.

Bother Henderson and Thiago don't play more than 30 to 40 games a season. So it depends on Klopp's assessment of Curtis Johnson....whether he can replace Gini in the first team squad. If yes, then we don't really need to buy for midfield ( just keep one out of Keita, AOC Shaqiri) and focus on adding resources in defense and upfront. Who the fuck is Curtis Johnson?
