He looked really good against Galatasaray, ominously reminded of Cantona. Hopefully Mourinho's ego and Zlatans ego will clash sooner rather than later

Crap and lucky goal. I don't think he looked really good at all. OTOH Rashford continues to look really impressive.

It doesn't matter, he is 35 in October. A stop-gap solution for United until they find a striker in his prime that Mourinho likes – but that won't be easy in this market.

TBH I am surprised they didn't go for Lacazette, he would surely be very good up front with Martial and Rashford. Wasn't Morata on their radar, or was that all paper talk ?

Didn't know they were playing, where were they playing, what was the score , who scored?
They won 5-2 vs Gala. Losing 1-2 at HT. Rooney x2 (inc. 1 pen), Zlatan (bicycle that hit the floor in front of him then bounced over the keeper), Fellaini (header) and Mata (virtual tap-in). Played at OT.

He mis-hit a bicycle and it went in, the press and scum fans are now creaming themselves. I'm pleased they're showing a 35yr old striker and rooney all the love, hopefully they'll play them both all season

Who gives a shit anyway?!
As Rurik said, he's soon to be 35.
A half lucky goal against Galatasaray doesnt really mean much.

The most annoying thing is all the Utd fans claiming his shirt sales alone will fund transfers and wages, yet Adidas get 90% of all the income....

That's also a strategy – to try to build a celebrity brand instead of a football club. Real tried this in 2000's. Shirt sales, big names and big salaries, fodder for tabloids, mediocre results... I sincerely hope they go in this direction.

I couldn't be less bothered about this.

I know this is a forum and debate is the lifeblood of it, but the regular threads about that lot down the road are plain annoying.

I really should just ignore them, but with those two huge egos arriving and Pogba likely to be next, I really hope we don't start talking about them too much.

Think Zlatan for a year while Rashford gets more experience is exactly what we need.

If we signed someone like Lacazette or Morata it would have made it very hard for Rashford to push on.

Rashford will probably be loaned out or sold, just like Morata and Lukaku were under Jose.

I think he's too good for that, but they are not going to trust him at CF when they can spend another £100m next season on whoever they like.

Rashford has potential but lets not get carried away just yet eh. Jose will either fuck his career up or he could end up like Jose Baxter aswell.

Well if he is good enough as a CF then we can spend the £100m elsewhere in the team.
Jose ditched Lukaku when his team were in desperate need of the new Drogba and Lukaku had just had an outstanding season at Everton, why would you think he'd be so keen to go all out on a youngster who isn't anywhere near the level Lukaku was at that point?

He will leave in January. His wife will demand it after The S*n followed her and the kids around and made up some fantasy stories that makes her and the kids look like idiots.

I don't know if you really figured out yet what type of manager Mourinho is?

He don't care about the club long term at all. It is results straight away that counts. He don't give a flying shit about Man U or any club. He won't care how much he drag the club through the mud to get results. He will moan moan moan moan moan moan moan moan moan.

In short, he is the biggest cunt ever in the game. He forced a few referees to end their career because of the way he blamed them. Diving, time wasting and faking injuries will be a part of his tactics in every game. He is probably the biggest cheat ever in the game.

He's already vacated the 5* Lowry hotel because they don't have a swimming pool.

I love Arn. He's our very own total spastic
