Thanks for sharing this.
Luckily we can sub half the team in the cups (5 subs).A positive to that schedule is that if we sweep Benfica aside in the first leg (its obviously no gimme, but there is more chance of that than any other opponent) then we can rotate/rest in the second leg to be better rested going into the City Semi. A lot hinges on that first leg to set us up nicely for the two City games.
FFS hold it in the North, both teams are from there !!

I think I am correct that they started having semi finals at Wembley when Arsenal & Spurs got drawn together in the 90s. Wembley was the only logical place to have it, so they put the other semi final there for "sporting integrity". There was no reason to continue the following seasons, apart from a money generator for Wembley, so it stuck.
Go back to logical neutral venues
Yes, that was supposed to be a one-off in 1991. They went back to other grounds after that (one of which tended to be Villa Park).
The idea of every semi final being at Wembley came about when they built the new Wembley Stadium and wanted to recoup the money.
Imagine it hahaMaybe they could hit a couple of buses together!

Well, you know what?Anthony Taylor will referee Man City vs Liverpool on Sunday. Paul Tierney will be the VAR
Guess where they're both from... Manchester
Think the one on Var Paul Tierney is the one Klopp had a problem with too..Anthony Taylor will referee Man City vs Liverpool on Sunday. Paul Tierney will be the VAR

Would be nice if the pressure on them goes in our favour …I guess all will be revealed
