I always enjoy reading Avvy's aftermatch posts. Top bloke too,I'm delighted I made it over to have a drink with you, and yes I did tell you at one point to stop getting the rounds in because everytime I looked around you were coming back from the bar with pints !
There's also one thing you left out, which I thought was a touch of class by whoever organised it (Sunny?) - there was a little presentation done by Bobby before him and Avvy sang karaoke (with backing vocals by the entire pub btw) and Avvy was given the plaque that can be seen in the photo. Bobby made a quick speech recognising the effort that Avvy made to make it to games and just wanted to show the appreciation of the locals by giving him the plaque which read something along the lines of "there are no strangers in this pub, just friends you haven't met yet".
It was a great moment and not really surprising for anyone who has been out with the Scouse lads off the site, they're a great bunch and make everyone feel completely welcome when we visit their city.
I remember some funny shit too - Dave explaining the difference between his and my accent - "He's from Dublin and I'm......" Sean - "What ? And you're a pikey ?".
I had a cracking time over the weekend, even if that girl that gave me her number in O'Neills did take me into Popworld to meet her boyfriend. Women ...
It was nice to catch up with the all the lads I've met before and great to meet the ones I hadn't - Avvy, Redshrek, Del. Apologies to Del - I didn't know you were heading off straight after the match otherwise I would have made more of an effort to speak to you before it.
Oncy, Sheik, Portly - disappointed you didn't make it.
And where the fuck was Krump ?

Yep. That was lovely who ever organised that. Avy was welling up accepting it, he couldn't say no the duet after that.
Avy commented on the fact me and Ross has totally different accents.
Cue me ;"Ah Ross says things like 'mate' and 'like', I wouldn't say things like that down my way".
Cue Sean, "Dave are you a pikey so". Haha.
We had the most random conversations ever and everyone took the banter on the chin and had a laugh.
