BBC Sport - BBC Sport asks 'Who are the champions?'

Quote:
MARK BRIGHT, BBC LONDON

1 Liverpool 2 Man Utd 3 Man City 4 Arsenal

"Liverpool finished 22 points behind United last season but only Sir Alex Ferguson amassed more points than Kenny Dalglish since the 'king' took over from Roy Hodgson.

"Why will they win it? The Reds have four players who could grace any team in the Premier League: Pepe Reina, Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll, then add to the mix promising youngsters like John Flanagan, new faces like Charlie Adam and Stewart Downing plus team spirit, desire and 21 years of hurt."

Who are you and what have you done with Mark bright?

Chelsea not qualifying for the Champions league, now that would be a lovely added extra.

Infact stick Spurs in there somewhere and boot Utd into the europa league too please, Mark

Wow. Mark Bright is a strange one all right. He's talked us down time after time, but it's been said before that he actually does admire LFC and has a go out of frustration.

Let's hope he's right, eh?

The worst kiss of death possible.

Mark Bright talks absolute SHITE. He's probably done this on purpose

Just when I think the pressure is off as every pundit and his dog did not give us a chance in hell.

FWIW one or two non-LFC fans on the phone-ins have started tipping us.

I don't care whether it's realistic or not. The fact that a bit of belief in us is stirring in the football world is a good thing, whatever happens.

This was also my feeling. Mark Bright has never been right about anything, ever. Unless he's just had a stroke, this is far from encouraging.
