the only crum of comfort I have for myself is when liverpool face bitter disappointent it is often meet with joy a short time later.

missing out on the CL spot to leeds
a season later winning the treble

gh is sacked (I really liked him)
a season later we win the CL

our liverbird is like a phoenix rising from its own ashes.
I will say though for the first time I don't think I'll be that asked if rafa is sacked and that saddens me more than anything.

Stop it Oncy! I see the cycle. That's exactly what my dad done with me and my sister, brought me nothing but heartache.

Poor Molly. And me.

[/quote]But do you love your Dad? And Liverpool? And though you're grown and we suck do you still have a special bond because of it?

King jose's arrival will give everyone (aside from a few choice crets) a big lift.

That's what keeps me sane.

Of course Oncy, I'm clearly messing.

Funnily enough I was speaking to someone about Istanbul yesterday (before the game) and was talking about how awesome it was watching it with my dad. I watch most games with my pops, and like you say, it's time that we spend together, and it's great (when we win). I wouldn't change being a Red and what it means for my relationship with my dad. They just obviously do my head in. We're had a bit of a rough time as a family of late, and my dad's abroad at the moment, and not very computer literate, so he's always calling to see what's going on with general news and obviously the games, it would be nice if Liverpool could give him something to smile about when life gets tough, instead lately they just seem to add more misery on top.

This season can't end quick enough for me.
The great thing about international football is that once England go out I still enjoy the games and in every match I want someone to win so I still watch and invest my time in it. Domestic football isn't the same. Basically because I fucking hate every other team, and the thought of any team winning any fucking thing makes me feel sick.
So now I just don't give a fuck. Who wins the league? Don't give a fuck. Fa cup? Don't give a fuck. Europe? Don't give a fuck. Every other team can fuck off and die. Every tournament can fuck off and die.
Fuck football.

*till June*

This should be the attitude. I learn not to care so much for this club as long as the cunt manager is still the manager.

jose isn't coming, ffs why do this to yourself

He will come.

Rafa will resign after our last game.

Jose will immediately announce he's heading back to England and joining his boyhood idols.

Americans announce they're gonna give him 100m quid

Terrier shits himself and has the best world cup and summer ever ever.

6cm closes down coz there's no more fighting.

Some lovely posts here gang. We cope with the bad and the lows, because when there are highs, they are the best things ever. Anyone over a certain age has been spoilt with success, because we were so good back then.
Standing in the pub/stadium/wherever with your family, all cheering for your team, and sharing the happiness when you win is what brings us back for more.

Next season we will win something. And that will be so much better because of this season.

*crosses fingers*

I really, REALLY wish I could have seen our side when it was great. I honestly can't imagine us ever winning the league.

I was honored to attend Anfield as a nipper and see the likes of the king, rushy, souey, hansen , grobs and co.

It's exactly the same for me.

If we win, it always makes things a little better, even if it really shouldnt matter.

But to see whats happened to us his season has been hard.
