There was a brazilian guy amongst the 12 spaniards that descended on my apartment for the portugal game. He had nothing but great things to say about Lucas, having seen him play for his club Gremio and do wonders. He clearly knew what he was on about as well.

It was a bizarre conversation, like talking about two completely different players.

He remains confident he'll end up quite the player.

Wow, well that's me convinced. Some blert who used to watch him play for Gremio thinks he's great. Whereas I've seen the cunt play for Liverpool 50 times and I know he's fucking shit.

I'm not trying to convince anyone. I wasn't convinced myself. I do tend to think he'd do better in a different league, and I'm sure you'd love for that hypothesis to be tested.
