The 115 million

I've presumed that from the alleged 40mill we had to spend this summer, plus the alleged 75 million POUNDS we'll be getting for the idiot.

Does anyone think that Henry will give us all of it to spend? Would Rodgers spend the lot if it was handed to him?

I wonder how we're looking for the season after next for FFP and whether Henry wants to keep a sizeable chunk back so we pass it?

Yes.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us spend a bit more than 115 million. After qualifying for CL, not spending anything in January along with new sponsorship deals i was thinking we'd have 70ish (before sales) to spend this summer to consolidate our place in the top 4, of course we would be hoping for more than top 4 next season (if Suarez stayed) but staying in the CL places is obviously vital for us, really can't imagine the owners being lax here and we all know they are willing to make big money available to spend.

Lallana 25 (top end guesstimate)
Lovren 20 (looking very likely)
Lambert 4
Can 10

Call it 60m, we need 2 attackers and one of them (preferably both) needs to be the dogs bollocks, and a left back. that could be another 60m + quite easily.

That's not even mentioning a right back either which we must at least be thinking about, surely? please!

Sanchez confuses it a bit atm but regardless of that i think we will still be splashing out a fair old wedge, we have to now with Suarez as good as gone.

Don't really take much notice of the FFP stuff but sure i read about some of our new sponsorship deals not being included last time around, Garuda and Dunkin Donuts are paying a fair whack and there might be 1 or 2 more that hadn't been included?, fuck knows, sure the suits know what they are doing in that department.

We'd have failed FFP last time mainly down to writing off a 'stadium loan' incurred by the two thieving cunts. I'm confident we'll pass when we need to. Then again, if we don't, so what? The punishment is non existent anyway

Only impact FFP would have on us is the fine. 20-40 mill hurts us compared to PSG and City.

Nothing to say the fine would be the same though. As I say, reckon we'll be OK next time around maybe there was a reason they paid off during a period we find not have to conform to FFP

The fact they paid it off before we were eligible for ffp says it all, our owners were counting on ffp to help us, there's no way at all they haven't set us up in the best possible position to make ffp restrictions.

Chelsea have probably used the best tactic considering their wealth. They've basically stockpiled assets (players), that they can now sell so the impact of ffp is negated for a couple of seasons.

The fucking cunts.

We need a good, profitable 2013/2014 season to go with whatever exclusions we can apply, to stay within the FFP's max deficit limits for the 2015/2016 European campaign. Compared to 2012/2013, the £ 44m increase in TV revenues + merit payments and the fact that we spent £ 20m less in nett transfer fees for 2013/2014 should help a lot. However, we need to show that we managed to hold steady or reduce our wage bill while growing our revenues for last season.

With us selling Downing and sending Reina on loan, and with Carragher retiring, we might have been able to reduce the wages somewhat, but that's also offset partially by the wages for new guys like Mignolet, Sakho, Toure, and of course, new contracts for Suarez and whoever else. And then who knows what amounts we paid for agent fees and pay offs for players - if these went up, then the costs might still end up pretty even, which isn't good.

2013/2014 accounts will be interesting to see. We really need to make a decent profit to steer clear of FFP violations.
