Tapatalk signature

Why do the end-users have to switch it off?

Because it is 'preferred' not to have it on the boards..

It was disabled for the site at Site Owners end.. but due to Tapatalk changing their policy its no longer configurable, unless we pay $10 a month..

It promotes spam.. and its something most would prefer not to have on this site...

Many Site owners adopt a hard stance with these signatures, if peeps wish to continue using Tapatalk on their boards they must disable the signature.. so its nothing new...

Its not even a true signature.. it injects spam into post content, which messes up site content with search engines..

Also many site owners have also moved away from Tapatalk because of this, opting for using the responsive theme instead.. and as I understand many like to use the app here including myself, so I would prefer not to do this..

What's the advantage of tapatalk?

Surely with the performance of smartphones now it's redundant ?

A lot of sites argue this why they have taken the method to disable Tapatalk.. I just don't understand Taptalk stance, surely its important to get site owners on your side, this new policy appears to do the opposite..

Tapatalk has all your forum sites in one place.. Though you could just use Browser Bookmarks..

Tapatalk has notifications for all your fav forums... Though you could use Pushbullett if you are in to all that..

Tapatalk is a faster streamlined experience for forum users, however a lot of site content tends to be incompatible with it..

That being said I do like many here like to use it, and despite its flaws and shortcomings... ...it's just convenient to use..

I find it much quicker using tapatalk. It's quick & easy to switch between forums, it aggregates notifications amongst every site I regularly use (with the notable exception of reddit) so I can get to them in order & not lose track of where I am.

Plus it handles image uploads much more easily than standard mobile sites do.

Image uploads handling is a good call..

The simplicity of it probably makes it one of its best and key features..
