Nikola Zigic 203 cm Striker Birmingham City
Peter Crouch 201 cm Striker Spurs
Ben Alwick 198 cm GK Spurs
Darren Bent 198 cm Striker Sunderland
Pascal Zuberbuger 198 cm GK Fulham
Frederico Machada 198 cm Striker Manc U
Greg Halford 196 cm RB (Pompey) on loan at Wolves
Maik Taylor 196 cm GK Wolves
Petr Chek 196 cm GK Chelsea

yeah, Crouch was the first name on my mind. Didn't realise Bent is so tall, he looks absolutely puny on tv. ;D Are many of his goals headers, my impression is not. If only we had gotten him last year as 2nd striker.
 
Only Bent (5) and Soto (1) have scored in the Prem this season from that list (but half the list are GK's)
 
I'm sure zigic had scored. Ah well.

I'd fucking love darren bent 🙁

That's the wikipedia of lists, I'm surprised Michael Owen isn't on it. Where's Andy-fucking-Carroll, Rio Ferdinand & Craig Gordon. John Carew is wayyyyy taller than Darren Bent, Maik Taylor and Macheda even if they were standing on each other's shoulders.
 
List is definitely dodgy but Zigic is definitely the tallest. correct heights (and correctly spelt names) of the players mentioned (ordered by height then surname) -

202cm - Nikola Zigic
201cm - Peter Crouch
197cm - Petr Cech
197cm - Pascal Zuberbuhler
193cm - Greg Halford
193cm - Sotirios Kyrgiakos
193cm - Maik Taylor
183cm - Ben Alnwick
183cm - Federico Macheda
180cm - Darren Bent

Reina & Brad Jones would comfortably be ahead of Bent & Macheda and so would the majority (if not all) of the keepers in the league.
