My father in law just told me this story during Saturday lunch and I found it really funny ...

So Qadaffi's son, wife & entourage was spending time in Geneva, on a diplomatic 'pass', which the son or wife are not. While in the hotel, some of his servants complain of physical abuse. At first, the hotel ignores this complaint due to the client. After the 2nd such complaint, Qadaffi's son and his wife are detained by Swiss police. Both were released on bail but the damage has been done already ...

Libya has declared 'war' on Switzerland ...

They've stopped sending oil to Switzerland ... They've recalled diplomats ... Are keeping 2 Swiss hostages in Libya ... And are threatening (or have, depending by which news source we're going by) to pull all their money out from Swiss banks ...

But now ... the clincher ... Qadaffi put in a motion at the UN to ABOLISH Switzerland ... Ha ha ha ha:

Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi is set to ask the United Nations to 'abolish' Switzerland and share the land among its neighbouring countries.

The eccentric dictator has filed a motion with the U.N. saying the Alpine state should be wiped off the map and split among France, Italy and Germany.

Gaddafi is set to present his bizarre plan when Libya takes over the year-long presidency of the U.N. general Assembly on September 15.

He first mentioned his idea at the G8 summit in Italy in July. 'Switzerland is a world mafia and not a state,' he said.

'It is formed of an Italian community that should return to Italy, another German community that should return to Germany, and a third French community that should return to France.'
