After the Suarez mentalist mess it would just be nice to not be In the papers for some stupid stuff.
Players spitting and being a bit psycho, players hitting their wives/gf's etc and sterling trying to impregnate anything that moves it would just be nice for the club as players to be In the papers/social media for football related Ish rather than madness related ish.
I really don't want us getting balotelli

WTF?

He's f*cking shite, disruptive, sulky, doesn't work for the team and a child.

No thanks.

Cheeky bid for Hernandez?

Unfortunately Balotelli's attitude has prevented any move to LFC coming to fruition.

I wouldn't mind enquiring about El Sharawaay though.

Pretty sure I read that Diego Simeone wants him at Atleti.

I got a feeling he will stay though.

Shame I think he would score a lot of goals in our team

BR is asked what he thinks of an opposing player in a Presser. He says said player is a decent player. Lazy hack writes story saying BR wants to buy said player. They should be called on all this blatant bullshit. Are there any other walks of life where you can get paid to make stuff up? Appalling.
Also, he's a shit, thick, moody dickhead who doesn't even try half the time. The antithesis of a Liverpool player to my mind.

I'm not so sure. He only comes alive near goal and I'm not convinced van Gaal will think that's enough.

So anyone change their minds on Balotelli yet ? I'd still take him, we need someone to put the ball in the back of the net and this guy is very very good in and around the box.

Yeah does Glen actually rate anyone?
Yeah many players just not lazy wankers with no football brains like balotelli. We've finally made top 4 and have a great opportunity to push on and establish ourselves as a top club again. Every time we get to this point somerhing happens (alonso, mascherano and now suarez leaving) to knock us back down. Going for players like bony and lambert and maybe even balotelli was when we were 7th. We're meant to be aiming for a premiership challenge and keeping our team spirit. Balotelli, lambert and bony arent the answer. I love all the signings we've made so far apart from lambert, just feel we need a benzema level player up front and then we'd have a squad that can take on the best of them.

...on his day. Trouble is that emotionally he's a boy in a man's body, and from time to time that sends his form (and his behaviour away from the game) off the deep end. If a player is Suarez-good you can make a case for accommodating his excesses, but Balotelli's not in that class and never will be.

Agreed Jules.

He comes with too much baggage. Sacrifices nothing for he team and is a ticking time bomb. He got his dream move to Milan but has even fucked that up and they want rid. He's not good enough to warrant all the crap.

Maybe Jules but if he is one of two strikers we bring in (e.g. Mario & Ings) then he is worth the gamble IMHO. Build clauses into his contract to safeguard ourselves.

His turns 24 next week and his strike rate continues to improve : 28 goals in 86 matches (07-10 @ Inter ), 30 in 80 (10-13 @ City), 30 in 54 (13-14 @ a struggling Milan) and 8 in 17 games for Italy over the past 2 years too ..... we could do with a 1:2 striker to put the ball in the net, the price would be right and FSG like making bad boys good.
