Surely we could pay more if needed.
We can’t if they have a contract signed, which I think they do. Anyway who cares, final’s in 2 hours baby!!!!!Surely we could pay more if needed.
His brother maybe Andre maybe yes but not Jordan.Swansea's Jordan Ayew being linked in the Star, let's hope there is no truth to this.
Imagine being Lemar right now..
De Vrij has gone to Inter. As usual, I try to include only players who have been more or less credibly linked with us; Portuguese and Italian newspapers are mostly disregarded as sources.

I think Real Madrid players should be in a separate category. If any of Isco, Ascensio, Keylor Navas etc become available, I think there will be a long line of suitors and LFC probably among them - but their availability depends solely on Madrid’s internal politics and their own summer targets. So unlike most of the others on this list, Real players are not really “on the market,” but things could change quickly, so you can’t rule them out either.
Did I forget anyone?
=========
UPD: I added the color-coding like last summer, to show my very preliminary and imprecise assessment of whether the player in question would be an immediate improvement over the current first-choice LFC players in his position. Remember, it refers to current level, not potential. Red for instant improvement, orange for competitive, yellow for squad player, green for youth player.
A note about categories by position: it's hard to be precise there since many players can play in multiple positions or evolve from one position to another over time. I make a distinction between "deep-lying playmakers" and "other central midfielders" since the former is such a narrow specialist position. In Klopp's 4-3-3 system DLP usually plays in front of the CBs and "other midfielders" are stationed higher up the pitch. The distinction between "attacking midfielders/playmakers" and "forwards" is the most fuzzy one – my test is this: can the player in question play in midfield 3? If yes, they are classed as the former (Oxlade, Coutinho, Lemar, Draxler etc), if not, then it's a "forward" whether he plays in the middle or on the wing.
Behave.
We actually don't need an out and out CF with our style of play. This cannot be right. No way. More Frenchies ... dangerous game...it means we wont be signing any front men.
Problem is they are all a bunch of tiny midgits. Up against big physical defenders like chelsea and united we get issues. We actually don't need an out and out CF with our style of play.
We need cover for Salah and Mane.
If Salah is injured, we could play Fekir-Firmino-Mane.
If Firmino is injured, we could play Salah as CF. Fekir-Salah-Mane.
If Mane is injured, we could play Fekir-Firmino-Salah.
If we need a goal against a low block. Sub a mid. 4-2-3-1. Fab-Keita in the 2. Salah-Fekir-Mane in the 3. Bobby upfront.
I like those options.
Against a United, I'd expect us to bring in Gomez (at FB), Henderson and Fabinho in midfield 3. That'll be enough height to deal with the set piece threat they pose.Problem is they are all a bunch of tiny midgits. Up against big physical defenders like chelsea and united we get issues.
True. I see City have the same issues with Aguero, Jesus, Sterling, Silva 1, Silva 2, Gundagan and ........... oh !Problem is they are all a bunch of tiny midgits. Up against big physical defenders like chelsea and united we get issues.
Christian Pulisic isn’t Liverpool bound – at least not yet anyway…
The American’s father has described the links as ‘hogwash,’ stating that as of yet, there’s no concrete offers or discussions with any of the mooted potential suitors.
The teenager is regarded as one of the best young playmakers on the planet and worked under Jurgen Klopp during the German’s time at Borussia Dortmund.
Liverpool made an £11m bid for Pulisic back in 2016 [Telegraph], but his value would be closer to ten times that, now.
“He was linked to Tottenham. Last week it was Liverpool. The week before Man United. The week before this – it’s hogwash,” Pulisic senior told Sky Sports.
“He’s linked with a different club every week. I have no idea. His agent right now is working and looking, in close relation with me and Christian, and we’re just trying to see what the best phase of his next development will be.
“Now is the time that the season has just ended that we’ll sit down with Dortmund, we’ll sit down with, I don’t know whether others clubs are in the mix, [and see what] Dortmund’s idea is and their plans for Christian.
“But there’s nothing concrete. Right now, Christian plays for Dortmund and that’s where he is planning on playing again next year.”
Im against signing any of the established ‘elite’Lewandowski apparently wants a move and a new challenge.
I don’t watch Bundesliga - but his goal scoring record is fantastic and he’s worked with Klopp before.
