Not really suggesting this at all, but just putting it out there, but could a decent manager make Can into a great centre back in a back 4? He's tall, strong, good bringing the ball out. Skrtel's understudy for a season before taking the role himself?

The problem with Can is that you can tell he wants to have more of an impact further up the pitch and we would almost be training that instinct out of him. This is why I also wouldn't want him at RB full time.

I think the future of our team should be a back 4, and we are missing the competent full backs to complete that. Moreno will be a great asset against teams that park the bus etc as he is essentially a winger who starts at full back but these days very few teams park the bus against us!
