CAS 1 Suarez 0

Lucky one this for FIFA/UEFA/FA as if Suarez had have won, it'd have opened the floodgates for every man their dog to appeal everything.

He can train with the squad but the ban stands.

first game back is against Real ? i'd love for him and pepe to do something insane and get season bans .

yeah i didn't get the point of the "football related activity " ban , banning from games is all that really matters . I suspect the sad fucks will have a massive presentation for him soon .

It's good the mighty Barca didn't really get more of a reduction also , i expected them to get it halved if not more .

I was sure the ban would be reduced. Was bad enough that he was banned from all football activity but he's allowed to sign for Barca.

SSNHQ (what the fuck is that all about?) are stating he is allowed to play in international friendlies and potentially ones for Barca

He should now sue FIFA. Their excessive punishment meant he could not play in pre-season friendlies/promote shirts etc. Which CAS has ruled he should have been able to. The first thing I'd do is look how many shirts barca sell, apply a correction factor due to Suarez being a top £70m player. The losses should be at least £20m I guess, serve the party invitation on FIFA so they can see how real courts roll.

So I guess we're also entitled to some compensation, as that excessive punishment meant we sold him on the cheap...

Something for Suarez and his lawyers to chew on.

edit: Sorry, I don't think there is a single Suarez biting related 'joke' that hasn't been done.

I think he's been harshly dealt with in the end. An international ban of whatever length would have sufficed.
