That's ridiculously fast to get to 100 for Barca.

I didn't know if he could maintain his amazing form he showed for us but he's managed to step it up another notch.

Up there with the most talented players to play for us

Dreamy mate - we have all shed enough tears over Suarez; why do you keep bringing him up ? - especially tonight when our lack of goal prowess has yet again been shown up to being shit.

I don't think he's one of, i think he is.

Doesn't matter to me how long a player is here for.

No one can replicate what he did here, or at Barca.

How lucky are we to have witnessed the likes of Alonso Gerrard Torres & Suarez.

If it was not for what we did in the 70's and then the 80's - those players you list would probably never have come to this club. In fact they would have said 'Liverpool... who ?'

Suarez doesn't play for Liverpool anymore so I don't really give a fiddler's f what he does. The only times he will matter is when he plays against the Reds or a team that I despise.

Yeah.

I do have ongoing affection for certain players when they leave Liverpool - like Suarez (and Alonso) - and like to see them do well, but in all honesty it's in the most vague and distanced way, and I take little pleasure or residual "pride" in what they achieve elsewhere, because why the fuck should I care?

Plus I hate Barcelona.
 
He fucked off as soon as he got the chance and the season before that he was trying to force a move to Arsenal.
Truly marvellous footballer but the preening about him from our fans is cringy and clingy as fuck.
He doesn't care about Liverpool fans and would dive to win a penalty and celebrate against us given a chance.

Nah. I watch Barca's highlights just to see him, probably fantasising that he's still playing for us and my heart jumps whenever he scores or makes one with his brilliance.

My wife fancies the pants of Suarez for some reason and she read all these articles about how he got motivated to play football was for a girl who moved to Barcelona when he was 9 or something. I've no idea how true it all was but she convinced me he's a romantic and so I still love him. You can't blame him for leaving us - in a football sense he was sooooo much better than us and their families were over in Spain. He's just a total nutjob about how he went about getting the moves (ie biting).


How awesome would it be for us to build up to some amazing team over the next couple of seasons with Klopp and Suarez to make a late career comeback for a medal.

I still fucking love the loon.

It does rather give him a lot of intellectual credit but I thought it was taken as fact? The alternative is that he just gets so worked up about playing football that he bites people. Totally mental. Interesting that he hasn't done it at Barca though - maybe it was the shit players he was in a team with that made him do it.

I do actually think it's the bit in bold. No malice, he just chimps out and reacts.

The pressure and anger and uncertainty about wanting to get a transfer undoubtedly contributes, but if you want to join a prissy, holier-than-thou Mes Que Un Club bunch of wankers like Barcelona, the last thing that would impress them is biting people.

And when you watch the biting, it doesn't seem sly or premeditated, he just does it, and then seems as bemused as the victim about what's just happened.

I think his will to win made him do it. And when he's winning, he's less frustrated. He's a mentalist but he's a winner.
