Suárez return

That’s how I thought these sales work. If a player doesn’t request the move the selling club picks up the difference in wages.
Same I’ve heard, but that also becomes a part of the transfer fee which the selling club would use to pay players off. Thus why United will never be able to sell Sanchez.

If it'd been any other player at 32 then no.

But it's our Luis, have him back here in a heartbeat but there are number of reasons why it won't happen.

Dont read too much into those Spanish stats, they would not get that many goals in our league...not consistently every season anyway.

Yeah, I mean it's not like Suarez scored 20+ goals one season, then followed it up by scoring nearly a goal a game the next season. Messi, Ronaldo and Suarez would be shit over here.

Morally no, keep him away, with he flirting with the arse and his many misdemeanours.

On footballing ability, given the options we have, I would take him back in heartbeat.

I cant see FSG sanctioning a deal given his age / wages.

To compete with Citeh consistently in the future we'll need to fetch more players in who have a shot at staying in the team when they get their chance, and Suarez would defo be in that category. For me sentiment wouldn't come into it, whether good (what he did for us before) or bad (how he acted when we played them in last season's CL semi-final). If the price is right and the move will help us progress, get him back. If not, don't. Simples.

Probably best to forget about him now.

He’ll end up at Utd in January.

Yeah Messi would never score in England ....., Oh but Ronaldo would be shit ... Ah well Suarez, he'd have no chance ....

Total fucking bollocks

Iago Aspas has 75 goals in 128 games since he returned to Spain.

So let's not pretend it's not fucking way easier to score in Spain.

Leaving aside the fact that he's a horrible cunt, he's too stupid to play for us.

He wanted to escape the ire of the English press by moving to Arsenal.

Total Wanker. Disloyal. Would still take him
Quite. I saw him at a couple of the Norwich games when he ran amok. Outstanding player. Up there with the best. I can imagine him doing a superb job with this team as well. He's deffo got a season in him at least.

His stats have gone down year on year, and whilst I do think he's one of the few attackers in the game perfectly suited to our style, I wouldn't like to be handing him a contract of more than 2 years.

He'll get offered a 3-4 year deal elsewhere and likely accept.

If he played for free, and prostrated himself before Robbo then I'd think about it. He's a supreme cunt, and he's not the same player he was. He showed exactly how much love he has for our club over the two ties with Barca. None. No restraint in his celebration, no respect for our players or our support. That's fine, it is who he is, but fuck him quite frankly.

Quite right sir. The thing that really fucked me me right off, was how Liverpool was a great stepping stone for him to eventually play for an Elite club like Barca. Yes the same Barca that had only had one European Cup to their name in the 90s. Elite my fucking brown arse.

You always use Aspas as some sort of yard stick. He’s one player. Can you name 5 or 10?

No didn’t think so because it’s not way fucking easier at all.

Diego Forlan...

Actually, I forgot about what he did to Robbo. He can F right off. Don't want him here at all.

Opinion amended due to brain storage issues

Diego Forlan...
I think Forlan was a case of going to England too soon, and United not having the patience (and being able to afford whatever striker they wanted).

We can look at Torres who scored at a higher rate for Liverpool than at Atletico. Or Aguero who had a very good record in Spain but has scored at a much more prolific pace in England.

I think Messi’s scored a shit ton of goals against top English opponents over the years in the CL.

It’s not black and white like Rosco makes out.

Ah come on now. He said he wouldn't celebrate at Anfield, and he stuck to his word.
