That's not much of a dare in my opinion. I'd say all managers pick players who aren't 100% fit, just those deemed fit enough to play.
For a competitive match, I'm sure an argument for playing an injured player can be made.
I'm not so sure the same argument can made for a friendly.

Really! Who runs Europe these days? They might have had to wait nearly 70 years since they lost a series of battles but they've eventually won the war. And in the spirit of Kent Brockman, I for one welcome our new overlords.
I'm equal when it comes to tournaments. England winning the World Cup would mean a huge amount to me. As much as Istanbul did.
Friendlies are shit mainly and I prey Danny and Stevie get through it ok.

And ironically there'll be an overwhelming sense of schadenfreude in England if it happens.
