Sturridge ahead of schedule

Pretty much. The adoration some other players get is baffling - overblown, lengthy dissections of their contributions to a Liverpool side (oh look how amazingly they picked up that loose ball!), while Sturridge gets a "whatever", or a "meh".

I don't think it's that unfair. Nobody has said they don't value him as a player. But we've seen this all before God knows how many times in the last two years. He comes back from injury, and is injured again within a month or two. Failure to get excited by that prospect is completely understandable.

If he can stay fit, that's when people will be made up.

It is unfair. You get dumbass comments like 'Dead to me' because he's been fucking injured. As someone else pointed out Gerrard had a ton of injuries in his younger days and got through them. Costa, Falcao, Van Persie etc all struggle with injuries. It's unfortunate but let's not hang the fella out to dry. As we all know he's the best striker at the club by fucking miles.

I can't fault him for his injuries. Hopefully he'll be back and at his best in due time. I think having a really good plan B is part of having him in the squad though.

Can't wait for him to come back. If he stays fit, we are a different proposition. Him and Benteke up front together would be the best strike force in the Prem.

I really like Sturridge, but like most his injury record is a concern. The thing with quick strikers, and therefore Daniel, is that you can tell by the way he uses his walk, he's a woman's man, no time to talk. Music loud and women warm, he's been kicked around since he was born. And now it's all right, It's OK, and you may look the other way. We can try to understand the New York Time's effect on man.

Who said "dead to me"? I missed that one. That is unfair like.

Aye, starting with your "mint" one.
What's wrong with saying 'mint' fella? A perfectly normal adjective for something that is good. Maybe that vernacular hasn't filtered down to your neck of the woods.

Imbeciles use 'mint', regardless of location.

Truefact.

It's 8.10am in the morning in beautiful Melbourne - Surely you have something better to do than try and start an argument over syntax. By the way 'Truefact' is not a word. It's the sort of thing a wannabe dickhead white gangster would use (possibly from Essex) It's 23.12 here in the UK. Bring it you tart!

Truefact was deliberately ironic in the context of lambasting you for mint, and you fell for it.

2-0 to me.

2-0? Good luck with that - Erm .... I'll dull it down for you... "Truefact".....

@Ryan - Im off to bed. You really can be a tit sometimes but I love ya. If in doubt go with the philosophy @Red Astaire knows way more than you 😉

I doubt there's an LFC fan who doesn't adore Sturridge when fit. He's a brilliant player. Ignoring him is a coping mechanism rather than any sort of comment on his playing ability.

You may call it a coping mechanism. I call it a cunt's trick.

He's walking through a storm at the moment, with his head held high, and some people would prefer that he do it alone.

By fuck you're crucifyingly annoying.

Were you not in a) such a rush to defend every single fucker that's ever played for us, or b) such a hurry to take offence YOU BIG FUCKING WOMAN it would have been quite clear to you (like it has been to everyone else) that the limp 'celebration' at the news Daniel Sturridge has returned to training is because people are fucking fed up of it. We've all seen this movie before Mark. We know he's great, and that if he was fit he'd be brilliant, we don't feel the need to fucking revisit that. We're just done with him never being fit, and seemingly spending half his life running round some public parks in Boston.

That is pretty obvious to everyone.

Except you Mark. Except you.

You're like the nightmare girlfriend that you don't even get to fuck.
