You are forgiven.

Unlike you guys thinking Denmark is the capital of Sweden I actually know NZ and Aussieland are not the same 😉

I thought Denmark was a suburb of Norway?? 😉

People are banging on about strikers... but I don't understand, all those out of contract strikers that are about, were non prolific in front of goal with the possible exception of Owen. Carroll's injured (for couple of months), so its mute point talking about his return. There's talk about signing Llorente (sp), but that will not be till Jan. Give the youth a chance until Jan and bide our time. There's absolutely no one else out there I would have (with the possible exception of Owen). The Owners will have to learn from the mistake.

I've said a couple times but we could do worse than take a punt on Rossi. He had an excellent few seasons for Villarreal.

Yes please. We can buy him in January.

Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi will not be making a January move away from the Spanish club, according to agent Federico Pastorello.
The Italian has been linked with several of Europe's biggest clubs, following Villarreal's relegation from La Liga at the end of last season.

"Giuseppe will remain at Villareal for another five months, I guess. In my opinion, this was the last chance for Italian clubs to get him. In January there will be too much competition with foreign clubs," Pastorello tweeted.

The 25-year-old former Manchester United striker remains on the sidelines as he recovers from a cruciate knee ligament injury that ruled him out for 10 months in April.

FC Copenhagens Andreas Cornelius, 19, has just been promoted to the Danish senior International side for the Checz game whilst no-one really knew about him 6 months ago. Big, powerful type that's rather decent on the ball as well and certainly seems very potent in front of goal. Never a direct Carroll-sub at this stage in time but perhaps one for the future.

After yesterdays EL game in Copenhagen, Molde manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær commented that he believed Andreas Cornelius could very well end up playing for Man United one day. Strong, fast, good on the ball and a great goal-threat, according to him.

It's early days and I personally don't know if he'll be THAT good to make it at the very top but truth to be told he impresses a lot these days.

He was one of the smallest players in stature as a youth player why he was mainly played as a winger living on his pace and skill. Today he's build like a brick house, but has still got the pace and the skill. Great combo.

Combined with the fact he often scores at first sight makes him quite the prospect. He's still only been around at the top stage in Denmark for 4-5 months so when he'll hit a dry spell we'll see if he can cope with that and take it on from there. Personally I believe it'll only make him stronger as he seems a very grounded lad.

We probably should be all over this lad.

Cornelius, 19, with the 1st and 2nd (a beauty) goal in the weekend. Nikolaj Jørgensen, 21, with 3rd and 4th.

Current FC Copenhagen manager Ariel Jacobs was the one that nurtured Lukaku back in Belgium and by the looks of it he could be on the way to do the same with this lad - very very impressive stuff from a litterally unknown player 4 months ago.

Secret Footballer:

Claims Dalglish didn't have anything to do with signing Carroll. So if Comolli was planning it the fee wasn't so much a panic move but more like idiocy at leisure.

A good friend of mine who also happens to be a good friend of Kenny Dalglish told me a few months ago that the Scot was naturally still unhappy with how his second term in charge of Liverpool had gone but, what I thought was particularly interesting, was that he was at painpoint out that the signing of Andy Carroll was nothing to do with him.

Curious.

It's a little worrying when you hear such things going on behind the scenes. Of course some will say such things could never happen either.

Kerzahkov has been relegated to the reserves at Zenit after speaking in public about not being happy with Hulks mega wage.

Great finisher who at a decent price could be a very good signing.

He's not a great finisher.

Exactly my thougths mate. I've seen him firing blanks one to many time for Russia to believe he'd be the right choice.

Hansern perhaps you confuse him with their hot-shot Dzagoev (spelling) that indeed looks rather clinical in front of goal?

Maybe great is stretching it a bit, but he's a 1 in 2 striker.
Thats a good scoring rate and I'd take a punt on him if he was available for a cheapish fee

I can't imagine Kerzhakov will be sold any time soon, let alone for cheap. Zenit's troubles are mostly with Denisov (a holding midfielder and Russia national team captain), who upon learning about Hulk's salary in Zenit REFUSED TO PLAY until his salary is doubled. That despite signing quite lucrative 5 contract only last year.

Denisov got sent to the reserve team, together with his friend Kerzhakov, who voiced his support. I think Kerzhakov will be reinstated in the first team pretty soon. But Denisov might be sold in January unless he completely reverses course and apologizes to everyone.
