I feared the worst when we started missing chances for fun again.

Played well in the first half, but again couldn't convert good chances. Very impressed with the character in the 2nd half. Suarez was class, Spearing typified the spirit in the middle. They didn't cause us too much problems apart from the goal.
Nice to show we are capable of going down a goal and coming back to win, especially somewhere like Stoke.

My four points:
1. Agger is our best CB, he should start in the weekend.
2. Maxi, despite not playing much, is currently a better option than Downing. I want to see more of that Lucas, Maxi, Suarez combo. Swap Lucas for Gerrard btw.
3. Henderson can play and will become a key player for us.
4. Suarez is a gem and our most important player (sorry Stevie) but I fear that we might be relying on him too much.
We definitely need another tricky player up front or in an advanced midfield role.

Coates looks good in the challenge but will need to gain some composure on and off the ball.
Agger looked great and I don't usually like to see him at LB. Let's hope he can stay fit for more than two minutes this time.
Henderson shouldn't play wide right. He also shouldn't punt balls into the box as the first port of call (yes, I know we scored off one today!).
Carroll looked good for the first 20mins and then faded badly. We weren't creating that much for him though.

We deserved it, some nice football played again and Suarez was just magic throughout.
- The lad is something else, just worry about him getting burnt out, somewhere down the line he'll need to sit out a few games, problem is he's too important to us to be left out in ANY game.
Coates made a schoolboy error but recovered well. Some crunching tackles, look uncomfortable at times but other times very impressive. Carra was dodgy again, lucky not to see Red and i hope he's dropped at the weekend. Skrtel was solid as a rock 2nd half in his place.
Agger looked very assured at left back, but you'd expect him to move into the middle for the West Brom game.
Really hope we get a home tie for the Quarters.
