... for me is Pedro Chirivella.

He was kind of flying under my radar for the last couple of seasons, but now is really starting to show what the hype was all about. Him and Trent Alexander-Arnold were the only 2 young players who produced impressive performances in both games so far. You can see that Chirivella in particular is trying his hardest to impress Klopp in these games – sliding into tackles all over the pitch (against Wigan he probably made more tackles than all other front 6 players combined), looking for scoring chances by making runs in and around the box (which led to the tap-in goal against Tranmere), trying to score a spectacular goal from range, displaying his range of passing and ability to control tempo. Perhaps he's looked more impressive than some others simply because he's tried harder – but surely that should count in his favor, not against him – and there is clearly quality to back up that effort. He's also bulked up a bit compared to last year and now looks like in a year or two he'll be fully ready to hold his own against EPL midfielders. I can see him eventually making the grade as a Busquets-like holding midfielder.

I remember loads of people giving him stick last season, and said he was useless.
But the lad is clearly talented. There is a reason he was 1 of 10 players singled out as the future of the Spanish national team, he's very highely thought of.

Looks to have bulked up and improved while out on loan. He would definetly benifit from going on loan this season as well. Playing an entire season in the Championship would be great for him.

TAA looks ready to step up this season. If he continues like this, he'll start against Watford.

I've had soft spot for Pedro since he arrived. He's a classy player with a combative edge and seems to have benefitted a fair deal from his loan spell.

I'm with Hansern, another season on loan in a physical league and he might just be nudging for a squad spot next year. I hope so.

I've never see him before but he caught my eye. His pressing and work rate were unmatched by anyone else.
