It's all kicking off on that fucking cesspool that is Twitter.
Apparently, Collymore 'favourited' a tweet that called Liverpool fans 'murderers' and now the 'fans' are racially abusing him.
Here's a sample of what I've seen so far in regards to the abuse to Collymore:

"I hope your whole family dies in a house fire you cunt."

"Your just a fat fucking nigga, fat fucking niggaaaa."

"shut up nigger wife beater"

Classy.

Any thoughts on this? Obviously abhorrent and isn't there some law in the UK now where these 'fans' can be charged for racial abuse online?
 
Ok, Mark. Granted he seems arrogant and such but you don't think he deserves any form of sympathy after people have wished death upon him and his family and racially abused him?

There's no justification for what people have posted to him, like I said. They're the scum of the earth. I don't have much sympathy for him as a person though, given his track record.
 
he doesn't deserve racist abuse but he deserves abuse simply for being on that cunt twitter . Everybody on twitter deserves it.
 
It's like that buffoon Mary Beard. Looks like Ben Gunn in drag. Goes on TV. Then makes a point of looking at Twitter, where masses of drunken idiots comment on her looks. Cue mock outrage and a poor me article in the Daily Mail. What any sane grown up person would be thinking is 'why the feck did she look? Hasn't she got a mirror?' I'd never condone what's said, but looking at twitter reactions to you is like going into a pub at about 10 at night and asking people what they think of you. Collymore sadly knows what he'll get and knows what it will generate in terms of publicity. Having said that, anyone who racially abuses him should be shunted off to court pronto. It's a wretched little circus.
 
I always feel you sow what you reap on twitter. Collymore was bang out of order during the match and during the subsequent call-in. Favouriting "Liverpool fans are murderers" likely reveals even more about him than he is prepared to admit. However, the racial abuse is over the top and uncalled for, I just feel.
 
Do we actually know they are our fans? It's quite easy for anyone to post such remarks and drag our reputation down.
 
Favouriting it does not mean that he is agreeing with it in any way. He may simply be highlighting it. He constantly seems to get the racist abuse though. Some sick horrible cunts about.

Separately it seems to be part of the job description on Talkshite to wind people up and get them to phone in.

So, Collymore calls people murderers and they racially abuse him. Seems like a fair trade of views between a bunch of utter fuckwits, although obviously this country's obsession with race clearly makes making a racist remark worse than accusing someone of being a murderer.
