With a bench full of Nippers.

LFC TV are showing the match 9.00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Dammit!

It'll be the usual mish-mash of first-teamers and kids, I'd have thought, with a completely different eleven for each half.

The crucial ones to watch IMO will be San José/Kelly, Darby, Spearing, Mavinga, Pacheco and Nemeth, as they're the ones most likely to get chances in the first team this season.

I think LFC TV is currently free to view since Setanta closed down. Sky Channel 434.

Really?

The summer is when LFCTV could really show its worth by using some imagination, but it's dire stuff - endless repeats and not even a short daily news round-up. Apart from showing old matches they don't appear to have a clue what to do.

Stop whinging. There's plenty of good stuff. We're not made of money to cater for your every whim.

He said it could do with using some imagination. Hardly a scathing attack. Calm down.

I'd get Nemeth involved.
So would I if he is not on loan (is he ?)
Sorry, has this been confirmed? I can watch the match wednesday?

I don't believe so, Rory. He was at Blackpool last season, got injured and finished off back at Liverpool.

Yes really... and on Virgin too.

excellent, cheers.

For Singapore Reds, the match will be shown live on Thursday morning at 155am on Starhub channel 27.

For Aussie's the match is on Setanta live and repeated later in the evening.

Setanta's still running over here.

It's free on VM 544 & Sky 434. Dunno if the match is definitely on the channel, but the channel is definitely on the telly for free. If you have Sky or VM.

it isn't for me.

do need a specific package size?
You have to be on the XL package to receive it free.

It's looking like LFC TV will provide good coverage of the pre-season games. If anybody needs further confirmation, the official website has a tv guide, but only for the week ahead.

http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/tv/index.htm

UK TV Guide is noting the Rapid Vienna game on 19th (and other games if you check later dates; it only goes as far as the end of July).

http://uk-tv-guide.com/list/Liverpool+FC+TV/19 July 2009/

There appears a couple of hours delay in these showings.

I would like to see Agger given a pre-season game at left back, if only to see how he can play there. I think we are more likely to see Rafa experiment with 5 at the back, with the full backs pushing forward.
