Apart from our Hungarian 3rd choice keeper no-one looks to happy.

Brad Jones and Pepe Reina are the only ones coming close to showing a bit of teeth as well.

Will we ever smile again?
 
Is there any logic to a squad photo?
I mean do shit players always stand and good players sit?
Or is just a height thing?

Both Agger and Skrtel are sitting and they are not exactly tiny.

I think it's mostly random apart from Gerrard, Roy and Carra. And perhaps Torres and Kuyt too. The rest are just thrown in.

Me and a friend were trying think of the last decent black player to have played for us.

We ended up with John Barnes.

It depends what you mean by "decent." I'm sure we could list lots of players who have had their moments. Mark Walters, Titi Camara, Rigobert Song for example.

And El Hadji Diouf is a talented player although I know he is very unpopular.

I thought he done well during his short spell at the club. Was a mistake not signing him I believe. He has since said how much he enjoyed it at the club.

By decent I mean someone like Alonso or Didi they were decent.
 
heskey was freaking AWESOME during his purple patch. when heskey was hotter than hot it was like, heskey +1...and then he went back to his usual shite.

you could argue not signing anelka cost gh his job as gh went on to sign the terrible trio.
 
Glen Johnson is one of my favourite players in the squad.

For some odd reason I've never really stopped liking Babel. Wherever he goes after us I'd be wanting him to become a successful rapp.... footballer.

A bit of a Heskey fan as well, he's always seemed like such a decent bloke (liked him the most when he was awesome though).

I still like babel but these day is more for his rapping and tweets than his football. ha ha

I'm waiting for the next black superstar so I can finally get rid of babel as my favorite player, as he seems to disappoint me on weekly basis and that if he even plays.
