Spurs Vs Liverpool.

Team or your team?

I wouldn't change a thing from the West Ham game. It somehow worked and the same players should be trusted with another go in their respective positions really.

Only change could be Cole instead of N'Gog but based on Roy's latest comments that's doubtful.

As expected, but it's not a very good team is it? Lucas, Maxi, Konchesky and Eggnog would struggle to make the Spurs bench, never mind the first team.

We'll have to hope we have a great day, and they have a collective off-day, otherwise we could be in trouble

Two weak/off form defenders. Two weak midfielders. 2 weak/off form strikers(probably being a bit harsh on Torres and N'gog). AND we're playing away from home. It doesn't look promising. But again it's about as good as we can field, hopefully they can do the job.

leaking team news and lineup on forums one or two days prior to our games is giving the opponents an advantage >🙁

Yeah, they'll now formulate a special plan to attack Konchesky, force Maxi inside because he can't run, ensure all the supply is directed towards Eggnog, not Torres, and simply run past Lucarse.

All of Budgie's cunning strategies have been lain to waste

Spurs have only picked up 8 points in their last 6 matches, whereas in contrast we have accumulated 13. So there is a chance providing we play to our absolute best.

Spurs home record: LWWDDW = 11 points
Away: DLWLLW = 7 points
Last 6: DLLDWW = 8 points.

Although captain Steven Gerrard will miss the game through injury, Harry has highlighted a seemingly back-on-form Fernando Torres as one of the main reasons why the Merseysiders could end up being back amongst the big boys come the end of the season.

However, he hopes we can carry on our run of having beaten Liverpool in our last three meetings at the Lane.

The manager said: "We have a tough game on Sunday. Liverpool are just starting to play well and Roy is getting them to play the way he wants them to play.

"I still think they are a big threat to finish in the top four. Torres is back and looking sharp and scoring goals.

"We've beaten Liverpool in the last couple of years at home but Roy's had a chance to work with them and they will get stronger."

The mood for this match has been really bleak considering we're only playing Spurs.
Yes, they're doing very well at the moment, and have a really good squad packed with quality but they aren't THAT good. We're not playing an in-form Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
I say we need to just go there with a big pair of bollocks (no Lucas and Poulsen or jokes) and have a go at them.

Against City it didn't work because they played 4-3-3. We were on the back foot from start to finish.
Against Stoke we were just huzzled of the ball and were quite frankley not as good at being Stoke as Stoke was. Long balls and flick ons and what not.

In the end I don't really care how we line up, cause Roys away record is abmysal anyway. He's won his one away game pr season already, and I have no hopes what so ever about winning.

If we do, I'll very very surprised. The only thing I'd add though is that we seem to play better against good opposition.

[/quote]I think the whole 'better team, better players, better bench, better manager, playing at home' ought be advantage enough mate. All im doing is letting them know who theyre gonna stuff on Sunday.

I think the vast majority of members appreciate insider information, even if it is bollocks. But the team news is usually not bollocks. And still appreciated.

Er, I think I've lost my train of thought

Mark and The Shrek are usually bang on.
And yeah i agree with Brendan, i dont care how spurious or unrealistic any link or shred of info im given is, i love it. Gossip and rumour are the lifeblood of fandom especially on websites......well that rancour and one upmanship obv.
