Spurs v Ajax CL Semi Final

Spurs obviously missing anyone capable of putting the ball in the net so they were pretty average, but apart from that, Ajax were pretty average too for the majority of that game. They had moments when they could string the ball together pretty well, but I wasn't impressed with the movement of their forwards. They're pretty composed if nothing special at the back.

Say we are going up.. Say we are going up..

If the result stays like this, the 2 teams above us play each other at the weekend if that's a draw or Bury lose and we win, two successive promotions

We are going up.. Say we are going up...

Closet Tranmere fan 😱

Ajax should've put the tie beyond Spurs last night. Still a great advantage for them taking a 1nil away lead back to their place, but with Son back for the 2nd leg, I wouldn't rule Spurs out just yet. I do think they're a bit one paced at times though.

I think that after about 30 minutes Ajax did well to hold on to 1-0. They did have a chance in the second half, but it was mostly one way traffic - straight into a brick wall

Spurs played with no belief. Struggle to see them beating Ajax who have the away goal to boot. It's nearly done. Ajax had a gameplan that made Spurs look ordinary.

Very poor from the Spurs medical staff that. The ref specifically asked if he was checked out, and then he lasted 20 seconds.
Didnt look good at all that.

I saw a few minutes of that. It's incredible that they allowed him back on, and looks VERRRRY bad for the Spurs medical staff that he had to come off again, wobbling around and retching.

Why we don't follow rugby's lead for concussion is beyond me.. so many underlying issue with concussion, and arguably long term effects

You only have to see American Football scandals and how its moved forward to deal with head injuries and of course ex footballers suffering from dimentia..

Medical experts should be independent and not specific to the team and should therefore make the final decision..

Have concussion, should be 14 days minimum before being allowed to return to the game..
