Than Zola?
Than anyone. He's the smallest professional footballer ever. He's a dwarf. A pygmy. A fucking Time Bandit. His kit is so small it has to be specially-manufactured using an electron microscope. If he was any more tiny, he'd be in danger of getting knocked off the ball by a fucking quark.
'A fucking Time-bandit'... hahaha...

Spearing's gone out on loan to Leicester City

Hate to be sizeist, and I know Masher is no giant, but until you see Spearo play live, in the flesh, it is impossible to believe just how fuckin small he is.

He looks like a mascot.
I bumped into Mascher in Tesco's the other day, he was not as small as I expected he was going to be.

Don't know what amazes me the most.

That he's shopping in Tesco or that he's actually not that small.

Tesco's somekind of Wall-Mart-Supermarket-thingy right? Would've thought they had people buying their groceries for them. Or at least Lucas.

I saw Henchoz the other week in town. His sunglasses (in the middle of winter) were fucking huge and obscured most of his face. StGeorge, have your fill.

You get loads of the footballers in that Tesco. I've seen quite a few in there.

One of my mates used to work on the tills and he said Reina came to his till once with a giant tub of durex lube.

Given how small and young he looks, it's come of no surprise that he's being groomed.

Good move for Jay

Liverpool youngster Jay Spearing has joined Leicester on loan until the end of the season.

As revealed by skysports.com earlier this week Leicester have agreed a deal to take the highly-rated midfielder on loan.

The 21-year-old midfielder has found first-team opportunities hard to come by at Anfield, but is held in high regard by the Reds.

It is felt that his development would be greater served by taking in a spell away from Merseyside.

As a result, Spearing will now see out the remainder of the 2009/10 campaign at the Walkers Stadium, as the Foxes attempt to secure promotion out of the Championship.

"Jay is a great signing for the team, a player that should be a big help to us between now and the end of the season," Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric told his club's official website.

"We have been trying to do everything we can to ensure that we have the best chance possible of succeeding in this division."

Spearing made his Liverpool debut in a UEFA Champions League clash with PSV Eindhoven in 2008.

if i'm gonna be honest, by 21 if you haven't broke into the first team squad consistently and actually play a decent amount of games then is there much point in keeping him?

It's got to be a healthy sign that players can join their families down to their local Supermarket without beeing completely man-marked by fans. Don't think Italian or Spanish footballers enjoy the same freedom, so to speak, back home.

He's trying to oust Masher and Gerrard though - not easy.

I haven't given up hope yet for our ugly little hobbit. He'll tear it up for the Foxes, probably stay on loan for another six months and then come back hungry and full of confidence. He's still got a chance.
