They'll prob have carroll training with the lads just get him up to speed as quick as possible. Great news for ince, robinson, flanagan, coady and sterling that they've gone too. Hopefully 1 of them might come on for the last 10 minutes to give them a shot
 
I like that sterling has been included although i fear for his safety. Imagine a skrtel or a gerrard sliding through him they would snap him in half! He really does need to beef up a bit.
 
Is Suarez tied as he played CL for Ajax?

The daily mail is reporting that Raheem Sterling is going to get some game time. Mind you, it is the Daily Mail.
 
Sterling won't play, they're aclimatising him to the squad & team. He *may* get a run out home leg if we're comfortable.

Seeing its a 23 men squad, 5 wont make it to the XI + bench. Minus away 3rd keeper, that's 4. Probably Only 1 of the 5 academy lads will make it. Still a good experience though.

No, I don't think so. I think Kenny was there when it happened. Ince wanted to go back on loan during the transfer window, Liverpool said he couldn't unless he signed a new contract.
 
Wow, this is a very young squad. Good to see that Flanagan, Coady and Robinson are included.

Raheem will get a fee minutes tonight as an appetiser. What brilliant motivation this must be for the Reserves who see so many youngsters making the squad!

I think it happened almost at the same time as Roy was sacked. It is very much possible things have change with him when him and his dad have got to talk with Kenny and his inclusion could suggest just that.
 
Will this be Kenny's first European match as a Liverpool manager?

I didnt know no one's won it 4 times.

It would be aces if we could lift that damn thing; I've almost forgotten what a trophy looks like 🙁
 
I would settle for the Europa League as a springboard to bigger and better things.

Winning silverware with the kids gaining experience would augur well for us.

We need to create a winning culture and team environment where the team is able to thrive. We have let ourselves down too many times in the past few seasons with poor tactic and a weak mentality lacking self belief.

We need to get back some of that BMT that established and consolidated our reputation as one of the European Greats!

In King Kenny we trust!

They're going for the experience so I don't mind. I just want the win and the rest will see to itself.

Presumably if we won it we get in automatically as holders ?
