I think he means if the team functions with one of them and the team score 3 goals.Solanke or Ings scoring 3 league goals? After not scoring one between them in the last 3 years?
That's a good point. And I guess if Jon Flanagan could morph into Xabi Alonso at the same time, then I'd have no issue with that either.
What else can we come up with? This is fun.
They will both winThree points please, United and Spurs play each other so a bit opportunity this.

If Ings were ever to get a run of games he would score many goals for us but having been out for so long he needs one to get him going. The obvious worry is he starts scoring goals and picks up another injury..............

I'm not sure where that confidence in Ings comes from. I saw him play maybe a couple of times for Burnley and he looked decent enough, but nothing amazing. You could argue that getting 11 Premier league goals for Burnley is impressive, but he's only scored two more since then for us, and been eternally injured since.
It's not really possible to say how good he is, or could be (or was).
There's just not enough evidence.
He is an average player who works hard. There is nothing between him and Solanke.
Ings is a million times better than Solanke. Only problem is, Ings is shit.
