Dalglish made his first substitution last night in the 90th minute. Ngog was brought on so Carroll could get some applause.

Seems as if Maxi hasn't played for a while despite being on the bench.

Cole has barely played since January except in the Europa League.

Poulsen is on the bench but it's same there.

Jovanovic hasn't even made the team.

Konchesky was the first to get shipped out when Dalglish came.

Kyrgiakos is the reason we lost to WBA and Braga and he was not on the bench against City.

Brad Jones has lost his place on the bench to Gulasci.

Aurelio is our best left back when he's fit. Well he's our only left back really but Kenny seems to rate him.

I'm not really sure about Ngog, Dalglish doesn't seem to rate him at all. He has barely played since he took over except in the EL and he's not even been given a chance from the bench.

Here's the rest of the first team players that are currently out on loan:

12 FW Daniel Pacheco (at Norwich City until the end of the 2010-11 season)
32 DF Stephen Darby (at Notts County until the end of the 2010–11 season)
39 FW Nathan Eccleston (at Charlton Athletic until the end of the 2010–11 season)
40 DF Daniel Ayala (at Derby County until the end of the 2010-11 season)
— MF Nabil El Zhar (at PAOK until the end of the 2010–11 season)
— MF Alberto Aquilani (at Juventus until the end of the 2010–11 season)
— DF Philipp Degen (at Stuttgart until the end of the 2010–11 season)
— DF Emiliano Insúa (at Galatasaray until the end of the 2010–11 season)

My guess is that all of them except maybe Pacheco, Eccleston and Ayala will be sold or released in the summer.

I'd be delighted to see the back of most of them, but finding suitors to match their wages could prove difficult.

Yeah that's true. But most of them want to further their careers so I'm guessing there will be a lot of loan deals struck. However West Ham seems to be keen on Cole and Cole probably wants to move back south.
