I know we've had a few of these, but I can't be bothered looking them up. I think these are fairly conservative estimates.

The Probables:

Aqua- 11m
Poulson- 1.5m?
Joe Cole- 3.5m?
Koncheskey 1.5m?
Jova- 1.5m?
N'Gog- 4.5m?
Insua- 2m
Darby et al.- 2.5 pounds

= 24.5000002.5 + 25m transfer budget+ close to the 50m mooted.

Any others? Any yoofs to be sold, Darby etc.?

Maybe you're right on N'Gog, but I think someone might take a punt on him at that. I think Joe Cole's reputation might inspire someone to come in a bit hotter than 3.5m.

I dont think anybody knows what our net spend will be, I think that will be determinded by whose available of our targets.

I think we'll spend a lot though, and 50 mill £ net spend is something that could happen.
Henry wants to win and will spend to achieve that.

I think you could add Maxi to that list. I like him, but he's old and on high wages. Could be kept on as a squaddie though.

Jones will leave aswell. 1 mill £. Nothing more.

Our net spend will be guessable once the accounts are available at the beginning of the summer, but fwiw I think Docs estimates will be closer to the truth than a 50m net spend. that would only be possible if FSG were putting outside money in, I dont see that happening though.

I have a feeling this will be a successful summer regardless of what money is available.

I think 50m is achieveable via sales, a vastly reduced loan and the new shirt sponsership.

as long as we are able to at least loan them out then it wont hurt us too much financially.
selling these players is going to depend on the players willingness to drop their wage demands and our willingness to drop our transfer demands.

I think because they are on the fringe or currently loaned out our perception of them is they are useless.

we'll sell them no doubt the reality is the buying team knows we want rid and so will drive down the price. I certainly think that when we have finished our transfer business we will have recouped 20m +, I'll be very surprised if we don't.

I think for the true dead wood we are talking hundreds of thousands (rather than hundreds AND thousands ha ha) rather than millions but all of that will still add up and even if we sell them at a loss at least they are off the wage bill.

poulsen > shevley, umpa lumpa
cuntchesky > robinson

we can afford to release dross at a loss freeing up the wage bill safe in the knowledge the kids can pull up the slack of their exit and are on far less wages
 
appaz there were a queue of teams trying to sign Jova, and Berlin wanted him in January. He'll go.
Koncheskey- done deal with Fulham they say. If not, I reckon we'll still unload him as he's 'prem proven'.
Joe Cole- we'll deffo have interest for him. I think he's still enough personal ambition to take a wage cut and allow us to get a decent fee.
Poulson- we just have to hope he's prepared to lower his wage demands.
N'Gog- Stoke have demonstrated interest. We might even take one of the PL noobies to the cleaners, or his goals in Europe might have impressed someone out there. I don't think 4.5m is exorbitant.
 
Hodgson has said that he needs to sign three or four players for Brom so that should up the price of both Konchesky and Poulsen at least.
