I read somewhere yesterday that since signing for us, Dirk Kuyt has run the equivalent of the British coastline two and a quarter times so I want us to win a trophy for him so he has something to collect at the end of all that running.

The British coastline is about 12,000 km and Dirky has played nearly two hundred games for us, running about 10k in each so that's nearly 20,000km, so it's only about one and three quarters times around the island.
It should be added that about 5,000 of those kilometers were him running after the ball after he miscontrolled it with his first touch.
