The player in most desperate need of being benched is guaranteed to start, which is always a problem, but seeing as our 2nd keeper is marginally worse than Mignolet we dont seem to have any choice but to persist. At this point I think he needs a break, hes not the worst keeper around but at the moment hes playing like it. He not the only one though, there are a few in the team who have completely lost their heads and seem to have become devoid of any sort of confidence or composure, Skrtel Lovren Henderson Johnson all look like a disaster waiting to happen.
At this point we have very few players who you look at and think 'he must start' but we are trying to cobble together a team of players based on who is the least worst option at the moment, Lallana Sterling and Lambert are about the only 'form' players we have while the likes of Moreno Kolo Lucas and Can have largely done nothing wrong. Id go with

When is Sahko back in contention? Id have him instead of Lovren if hes available. Wouldnt be surprised if Sterling is rested either he had a good game the other night but he looks fatigued to me, his decision making is a bit ropey at the moment, wouldnt mind starting Coutinho instead and letting him come on for the last 30 mins to run at some tired defenders. This is surely the last chance for Mignolet though, if he fucks up again hes got to be replaced in January
