Except its not, cos if we don't take it seriously & are knocked out we get.
The best way to look at it is to observe how we did against Toronto, whom were a bit ahead of us in terms of fitness. You can get outdone on match fitness easily, it's nearly happened to us a few times in these games, because you're still rusty, you play a half measured side and everyone plays like strangers. That's when you get idiots laying into the side. You can't read alot into these games and you can't expect anything more than being professional, keeping it tight and getting the job done.

I have a feeling Adam could be one of the biggest positives of the Season.
Rodgers style should suit him no end and he's entering his second Season which can be of help to him.

I do, but his tackling and ability to cover ground is atrocious and I think it will inevitably see him as nothing more than a sort of luxury player.
If we bring in Allen, then it'll be a three of Lucas, Allen and Gerrard, with Henderson and possibly Shelvey (if he doesn't go on loan) as cover.
How does Rodgers's style suit him? Rodgers prizes possession; Adam regularly gives the ball away with Hollywood passes. Rodgers demands constant, intense, pressing and movement; Adam is one of the unfittest players in the league.
He's a million miles away from a Rodgers player, as far as I can see.

And he can obviously move the ball around Lucas-style if asked to and with a bit more patience to his game his range if passing can give us more options in attack.
Unless this Allen lad is extremely good we shouldnt buy another CM. A defensive one perhaps and a creative AM but don't swap him with Adam for like £10M unless he's really good imo.
