The Coutinho Sturridge link up play is pure SEX.

Coutinho slid numerous balls into dangerous area's today. He is a star.

I wonder would Borini make some useful runs and benefit from Coutinho's ability to deliver quality balls? Maybe I'm over rating Borini's ability to make useless runs.

Honestly I'm starting to think Coutinho might be the #2 name on the team sheet after Suarez (if he stays) at this point.

Coutinho for either young player or player of the year, that how much I think he will do this year.

I must admit that LFC's bulbous commentator John Bradley's determination to call Coutinho 'the Little Magician' every single moment of every single match was a bit grating yesterday, as he often wasn't that good, but, yes, he still played some gorgeous passes like that. He's a breath of fresh air.

It is, and I particularly like the effortlessness of it. It's a sign of real quality when a player can make such things look easy.

Great pass and a great little player. Bargain too. Give the lad a new contract. £50,000,001 and he can talk to clubs in the CL.

We just have to surround him with players as quick-witted and aware as he is.

Yup. I'm starting to think we should just buy Eriksen because he's available and should dovetail well with players like Coutinho even if he isn't a top priority necessarily in terms of style of player (imo).

Borini's problem is not making the runs because he does, its his finishing ability. He ain't clinical enough.

Coutinho is 2nd favourite for the Young Player of the Year at 5/1 along with Hazard and Benteke. Jack Wilshire is favourite at 9/2

He is joint favourite to have the most assists this year at 10/1 along with Mata, Hazard and someone else, I forget who, could be David Silva/Santi Carzola.
