I'm buzzing for this. Great draw with a chance to get to Wembley for the semi finals.

We're in great form and with week until Swansea on Monday 16th I expect to see close to full strength given the lack of travel required since our last game.

But what exactly is the evidence for this 'momentum' argument people constantly put forward? Haven't we just had two excellent performances straight after being knocked out of the EL by Besiktas? Apparently momentum is a fine thing - taken in moderation.

This. Real had a 8 days rest against Bilbao and ended up losing. Best team everyday unless someone is looking REALLY jaded. No point over thinking, every match is important from now on.

It must be a nightmare juggling complex rotation schedules alongside injuries and suspensions and just seems to needlessly reduce a manager's options.

It's like running diagnostic equipment on your car everytime you do more than a 100 miles a week and using the wife's car while you wait for the stats. Don't use experience or judgment, oh no, you've got to be a slave to the stats.
