Shame. I've always liked him and he's a good player, I would definitely have him in our squad. Wish him well. If he's been a bit of a div behind the scenes then it's probably best for all parties.

Don't know what he did to dirty his bib with Jurgen but I honestly think he's as good as any of the CBs on our books.
That's alright...fine with that.
I'd put him ahead of everybody but Matip currently. Lucas getting games at CB ahead of him was just laughable.
It is a strange situation and hard to understand.
That said any feelings of bewilderment have to be mitigated by the fact that the best deal he could get was a loan to struggling Palace. Had he have gone to someone for 20M it'd probably provoke more head scratching.
