It's a bit tapatalky...so was it open source or have you received some sort of licence from them to use their gui?

It is tapatalk. It's just the tapatalk app rebranded & themed for us.

It gives us the advantage of attracting new posters from the play store & app store, cos we'll be in the search when people type Liverpool or lfc forum etc. As well as having a consistent theme across the app & website.

Weve added the app icon (will be changed), splash screens & changed the colours.

There's a tab called blog , which appeared to be just recent threads?

It's also a few too many clicks to get to the forum list ,could that not be renamed from browse to home or something and put as the very first tab?

I was thinking Timeline, Browse (we can't rename it I don't think), Participated & Unread. No need for blog imo.

It's pretty subjective though, I don't understand why it doesn't let the user change the tab order. I rarely use browse, as timeline, participated & unread, but then that makes sense cos I can check it very regularly. People who check it less regularly I can understand would want to start checking footy forum or general forum first etc.

Heh. They're kind of important to prevent stagnation over the medium to long term as posters drop off the map.

We only maybe keep a couple of percentage of visitors as long term posters as we're not appealing to the masses (which is a good thing, cos the masses are dickheads), so the more potential posters we have the more we secure the longevity of the forum.

Timeline, Browse (Forums), Subscribed (bloody useful), Partipated. unread, chat (IOS only) should be the only Tabs.. Just need to decide which order

That's fine mate, I tend to use the responsive site occasionally, but favour tapatalk more simply as I find it loads more quickly.

I've notice the landscape banner ain't working too, so will fix that

Once we are all decided on the Tab order and names (see one of my previous Posts) and I've taken time to a look at @FoxForceFive additional artwork and apply... I will rebuild..

Ahh, they should add it for thread view, be handy for match threads. Although the only time I use the laptop consistently is during g the match as it's easier to blind type comments whilst watching the match using an actual keyboard.

Agree. I accidentally started a tapatalk chat the other day when I wanted to send a pm. Bit confusing both being available, & unnecessary.

I remember chat from the dark days of the website which must not be named.. It was cluster fuck, so binning it is more than welcome.

I like the app fwiw.

If you restart the App you can see the changes I've made.. To restart the App Force Stop it in Application Settings, then relaunch

Noticed an issue but not sure if it's just me has it for some reason.

When I follow a notification from tapatalk for our forum by pressing it it will take me to that post.

When I do the same for the scm app it takes me to the general chat forum, & once it took me to the gamers & geeks forum, but never has it taken me directly to that post. Pretty annoying.

It's looking pretty decent , good work red ninja, despite posting from it for this post, km not sure I'd ever bother to use it as I find chrome fast enough and have always found Tapatalk a bit unnecessary but it certainly looks the part , let's see if you attract any new members from it ! I presume you can track registrations that are made via the app ?

Not sure if its just my phone. But you know at the top where you have an icon to let you know about a notification. I.e F for facebook. T for tapatalk. Would be good to have a little SCM or 6 for this app. Currently on my phone it comes up as a speech bubble.
